Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon cream

Preparation of the cream

Heat the milk.
Beat with a whisk the sugar, cinnamon and egg yolks and gradually add the milk, whisking constantly.
Put this mixture into a double boiler, stirring constantly for a few minutes to thicken the cream.
Once it has reached a consistency that leaves a line on the spoon, remove from the heat and leave to cool.


Preparation of the Strudel

Prepare the apple strudel by following the instructions on the packaging, sprinkling it with icing sugar after removing it from the oven.
When serving, cut a slice of strudel, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with the cinnamon cream.

250 ml milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 egg yolks
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon of corn starch (“Maizena” flour)
